Model Tests & Digitals Warsaw

Polaroids (digitals) for modelling and acting agencies in Warsaw – industry standard, fast turnaround.

Applying to an agency? You need polaroids and digitals in the format agencies actually expect — not phone snapshots or retouched portraits.

I shoot tests and digitals in Warsaw for models and actors at every stage. Available for travel to other major cities.

What are digitals and polaroids?

Digitals (also called polaroids) are the standard set of agency photos. Their purpose is to show you — without filters, retouching, or heavy makeup. The agency wants to see your natural features, skin quality, body proportions, and skin tone.

Most Polish agencies accept this standard — including D’Vision, Avant, Rebel, Gaga, Vanilla, 8fi, Specto, and others.

Modelling tests vs acting tests

Modelling tests are strictly technical. Clean background, soft studio light, minimal styling, neutral expression. The agency is assessing your features, proportions, and photogenicity — personality and expression take a back seat.

Acting tests follow different rules. Technically similar — no retouching, no filters — but the posing is looser and more natural. A few shots: face, half-body, full length. The agency wants to see your personality and expression, not a trained model pose. We also shoot a few mood variations: neutral, natural smile, maybe a touch of intensity.

No experience? You don’t need it. I’ll direct you through the whole shoot.

Looking for something beyond model tests? Check out private sessions — creative portfolio, portraits, and gift sessions.

How to prepare

The shoot takes place in a studio — soft, even light with no harsh shadows, clean white or neutral background. Conditions are controlled so the agency sees you, not the lighting.

Clothing

  • Arrive in loose, non-marking clothes — and seamless underwear. For bikini/underwear shots we don't retouch pressure marks, so avoid anything that leaves them — including hair ties worn on the wrist
  • Polaroids: black fitted jeans or leggings + black top — or blue jeans + white top. Two sets, we'll see which photographs better
  • Tests: your own choice of outfits — the agency wants to see your figure and how you move, so nothing oversized or baggy
  • Men: fitted jeans + white or black T-shirt
  • Underwear or swimwear for body proportion shots
  • Simple cuts — no prints or patterns

Makeup & hair

  • No makeup or absolute minimum (concealer, neutral lip)
  • Clean, well-groomed hair — tied back or bring a hairband
  • Natural, untinted brows
  • Nails bare or in a neutral colour

What to bring

  • Check the requirements of the agency you're applying to — and let me know before the shoot. Different agencies may require different shots
  • Several outfits (according to your package)
  • Shoes for full-length shots: nude heels or white sneakers
  • Hair ties and clips

Minors

  • Written consent from a legal guardian is required
  • Any adult companion may be present during the shoot
  • Let me know your age when booking so I can send the consent form

No. Most models I work with are beginners or early in their career. I'll guide you through the entire shoot — how to stand, what to do with your hands, and exactly what agency bookers look for in test photos.

Agencies want to see you — not makeup effects or filters. Polaroids and digitals should show your natural facial features, body proportions, and skin tone. That means minimal styling, studio light, and a clean background. No heavy retouching or filters that alter your features.

Ideally yes. Agencies assess natural features — heavy lashes can draw attention and throw off how proportions read on camera. If you wear subtle 1:1 extensions (natural-looking), we can leave them — the final call is yours, but I'll give you my honest read on what works better for each shot.

For polaroids: fitted clothing in neutral colors (black, white, grey), underwear or swimwear for body-proportion shots. Minimal makeup or none. For test sessions: additional outfits according to a brief we'll discuss beforehand.

Digital polaroids (unretouched) — usually within 48 hours. Retouched photos — within 7–14 business days from the moment you select which photos you want retouched. If you need faster turnaround, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.

Modelling tests are purely technical — clean background, soft light, neutral expression. The agency is assessing features, proportions, and photogenicity. Acting tests use the same technical approach (no retouching, no filters) but the posing is looser. We shoot a few mood variations: neutral, natural smile, maybe a touch of intensity. Acting agencies want to see your personality, not a trained model pose.

The set covers: face front, profile left and right, face with smile, half-body, full length front, side, and back. Plus variations — hair up and down, underwear or swimwear angles (required by agencies such as 8fi and MalvaModels). The exact number of shots depends on the package and agency requirements — the Polaroids package includes 20 digitals. This set is accepted by most Polish modelling agencies.

Yes. Written consent from a legal guardian is required before the shoot. Any adult companion is welcome to be present — this is standard practice. Get in touch before booking and I'll email you the consent form.

Yes, a companion is welcome — especially if it's your first shoot or you're a minor. I just ask that they cheer from the sidelines — the fewer distractions during posing, the better the photos for everyone.
